For some risks, even though mitigating actions have been put in place, it may be desirable to have a response plan or set of actions prepared in case the risk materialises. For these situations, you can create Triggers. Triggers allow you to record actions and procedures in the event a risk is triggered.
The Triggers TAB is enabled in the maintenance screens by the administrator if this is required.
- Go to the Home page of the site
. -
Select the organisation unit of the risk/issue from the side menu.
-
Find the risk/issue in the risk list and click on it's title. You may need to use the vertical scroll bars to see the whole list.
-
When the risk maintenance page appears click on the Triggers tab
. -
Click on the Create Trigger button
. -
Set the Trigger field to the include details of the trigger event.
-
Set the Actions field to describe the actions that will be taken should the event occur.
-
Click the OK button
. -
Repeat steps 5 to 8 for each trigger you wish to create.
-
Click the Submit/Save button
.
